Featuring local collaborators Jose Cafaro and JTB, the track is an R&B/pop hybrid which Tobias hopes highlights cross-cultural collaboration. On “Made Up My Mind”, we are treated to a honey smooth track with a healthy injection of funk, overall reminding us of early Maxwell tracks. That 90s neo soul feel comes with some music appreciation as well with a nice callout to Steely Dan’s “Dirty Work”.
