The descending chord progression looping throughout injects a bittersweet melancholy that is perfectly fitting with the tune’s message—yearning for a love to last. Tim’s vocals are a standout, a pure tone that tugs the heartstrings particularly when he goes up into his higher range. Heartfelt and powerful, “Forever” has Top 40 written all over it.
