Hector and Velossa wait out the tragedy in Velossa's dressing room, where she begins to needle Hector on his toxic masculinity and internalized homophobia. Gogo boy Shawn analyzes closeted Larry as they wait in the dark room. Jess and Desiree tend to Cynthia's injuries in the third floor bathroom.

Nia decides to try her first lesbian bar, only to find it closed. The scorned Cynthia brings Nia to Toxic, where she helps underage Brad slip into the club. Later, Hector, Velossa, Angelo and the bachelorette party flee the shooter as Jess tends to Desiree’s injuries after her confrontation with Cynthia in the third floor women’s bathroom.

In our pilot episode, Nathan drags Hector to Toxic nightclub to see legendary drag queen Velossa Raptor. Elsewhere, Jess and Desiree have their date interrupted by Jess's erratic ex, Cynthia. As bartender Miguel goes to breakup an altercation, colleague Luke lags behind to lament the end of his military career following the recent transgender ban. Downstairs, Ellie and Andy regret bringing a bachelorette party to the club.
